A.J. Brown is a self taught, deaf artist with a neurological condition that resembles cerebral palsy who works with acrylics, pencil, charcoal, pen, pastels, felt pen, collage, and her cat. A.J. has also written, produced, directed and edited a video. A.J. considers creativity to be an expression of her soul voice so that others can hear and respond to her. She feels that art connects her to her spiritual self. My Voice: A Journey of Creativity, Courage and Hope is her new book. With humour and gentle wit, A.J. Brown shares her inspiring life journey. She offers hope for anyone facing illness, disability and other life challenges. She feels we all have great wealth inside or a gift. She chooses to share this wealth through poetry, art and stories. Her message is about finding your own voice and seeing beyond limitations to the love and joy all around.
