Sandra has suffered from clinical depression for many years, sometimes to the point of being completely debilitated for lengthy periods of time. She first became interested in doing stand-up comedy as a reflex antidote to doing some very difficult emotional healing work. When things got really tough she would find herself imagining herself on stage doing stand-up comedy. Since debuting in 1996, she has performed at Laughlines in New Westminster, for a class on stand-up comedy, and for the Mental Health Organization in North Vancouver on the topic of Depression. Sandra Lynne will be performing a stand up comedy routine focused around clinical depression.
