"The Masks We Wear"

A Plaster Mask Making Workshop with Siobhan McCarthy - Artistic Director of the absolut theatre company and Artist in Residence at Gallery Gachet. In this Mask Making workshop participants will create a custom made plaster of paris mask that they can use later on in performance. For more information please visit www.whoareyoucallingcrazy.com. McCarthy also presents her acclaimed one-woman play, Spiraling Within, a bold and touching multi-media show that combines dance, movement and dark humour to explore mental illness and examine the system from the inside out. Follow Kayla as she pops her pills and trips through bus rides, raves and psych wards. The play explores depression, anxiety, families and individuals. Spiralling Within is produced in partnership with Theatre Terrific and Gallery Gachet, and supported by the CMHA, Canada Council and United Way.
