Catherine McNeil

Catherine McNeil, a former Teacher of the Deaf, has fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. She is a member of the old time band Whistlin’ Dixie and has been published in many anthologies. Most recently, The Fed Anthology and Exact Fare Only 2 as well as literary magazines including Event and The Capilano Review. Her first collection of poetry, under the influence, (Milieu) will be released next Spring. She is currently working on a screenplay “Immaculate Mary”.

At the kickstART2 Festival, Catherine McNeil will be reading from her book of poems Under the Influence which will be released by Milieu Press in the Spring of 2005 and from her recent chapbook Vancouver Poems.
