David is a singer-songwriter in Vancouver, where he incorporates music in working with special needs. Originally from Ottawa, his began his music career by busking in markets. In 1997 he moved to Vancouver where he worked with his old busking buddy, John Law, to record his first CD. David, who himself is a hemophiliac, is the founder of an arts-focused support group for youth survivors of traumatic brain injury called “Snapped Wires”. With sponsorship from Vancouver’s Lower Mainland Brain Injury Association the group recorded a CD of stories and music in July 2002. David’s new CD, Bottle of Stars was released this past spring. David will perform at kickstART2, and Snapped Wires will join him on one number.
