Welcome to kickstART2, Canada's first and only international festival of disability culture. And thanks very much for your interest in volunteering. As a volunteer for this unique event you are ensuring that this and future KickstART festivals will continue to be part of Vancouver's cultural landscape. We are very happy to enjoy the support of people like you who are dedicated to keeping us here.
KickstART2 takes place from Thursday, September 16th to Sunday, September 19th, 2004. As a volunteer you will be providing valuable support to our artists, guests and staff. We simply could not do it without you!
As a volunteer you will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours over the course of the festival. In exchange you'll receive a pass to the festival that, space permitting, will give you access to any workshops or performances you'd like. We ask that all volunteers arrive 15 minutes before their shift start time to check in and get oriented for the tasks ahead.
All volunteers are required to attend Team Meetings, about which volunteers are informed when they are contacted to confirm their placement on a team. Thanks again for your support, see you in September!
