Relationships are dependent upon verbal and/or non-verbal communication.

My disability requires me to have hand-over-hand assistance. Also, without speech or manual language, the creation of a piece is an exercise in communication. The integrity of this work is in the consultation process—I am offered many choices, which allow me to portray a genuine expression of my inner self; by blinking my eyes, I affirm or deny suggestions.

Eye Talk helps me to demonstrate what the “windows of the soul” are truly capable of saying.
