The Milha7 is a sacred spirit dance, and the eagle, a very powerful spirit. The eagles power is a gift from the winged people to help humans. The Milha7 uses the power of the eagles to ensure that the prayers of the people who chant, drum, shake rattles and dance to the eagles song, are taken swiftly and without change to the Good Creator.
In Stlatlimx, Yaqtsat is women and the power of the woman being women.
A bowl similar to Pink Salmon Bowl was used by the Stlatlimx Elders and by the Medicine people in their spiritual ceremonies.

Dan Koskas
Billy Dan Koskas is a Stlatlimx from Lilwat. Lilwat is in the Stlatlimx Nation Territory, also known as Mount Currie, BC. Koskas first started carving art the age of seven and continued to carve during his education and the testing of numerous careers. He is now a full-time carver.
In the last few years, most of his carvings depict his translation of the Stlatlimx Spiritual elements, stories and teachings from some very special Stlatlimx Elders. His choice of mediums are exotic woods, soapstone, marble, pipestone, bones, and other carvable rocks. Koskas is also the creator of the famous love knot and its poem.
